COVID-19

We’re open again!

However all is not quite back to normal. For everyone’s safety ALL visits to the practice will be by appointment only, so please call ahead to arrange your visit.

Please be patient with us. We have a large backlog of people waiting for appointments so we are going to have to prioritise patients with visual problems and those with broken glasses.

We will be working as hard as we can to catch up and hopefully we will see you soon.

Keep safe and well. Take care.

Children’s Eyecare

Good vision is important for your child’s educational and social development.

Good vision is important for your child’s educational and social development.

Most children have good vision and don’t need glasses but up to 1 in 5 children have an undiagnosed vision problem.

A sight test is free for children under 16 and if they need glasses they are entitled to an NHS voucher towards the cost of their glasses.

I am a parent and grandparent and I passionately believe that all children over 3 should have a regular check-up to ensure they maximise their vision.
