Goodbye 2020, Hello 2021!
Well, we’re nearly at the end of what we can all agree has been a difficult, stressful year. Yet despite that, in the past twelve months we’ve seen our community pull together like never before. When we put our minds to it we can do great things! Let’s hope this renewed spirit of togetherness continues.
Jan, Jo, Judi and Joan would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for your ongoing support over 2020. We’re so grateful to still be able to treat and support our patients.
We’ve covered a lot in 2020!
- Kids eyesight and the worrying increase in shortsightedness
- The most common vision problems and how to identify them (if you’ve forgotten, they’re cataract, glaucoma, refractive errors and age-related macular degeneration)
- The importance of booking in regular eye tests
- Choosing an independent optician over an online provider
- Why you need a back-up pair of specs!
- Seasonal eye care
Why not flick through our blogs to remind yourself of what we’ve talked about?
The Personal Touch
At Your Eyes Optician, we strive to create a warm and welcoming service for our local community. We want you to feel comfortable picking up the phone if you’ve any worries and feel confident making regular eye tests (you know we’re a stickler for that!). There’s no replacement for your local optician. Buying cheap glasses online might seem too good to be true and that’s because it is! It’s that personal relationship that wins time and time again. We’re here to reassure, educate and care for you and your family and we’re honoured to be in a position to do that.
Catching Up
We would like to apologise for being so far behind with routine checks, we’ve a lot of lost time to cover but we are working hard to ensure we get caught up!
However, remember that if you do have a problem you can ring us and we’ll do our best to help.
A final reminder that for the time being all visits are by appointment only. This system allows us to keep the shop clean and safe for everyone.
